This was a photoshoot for Top Valley Academy’s new prospectus. The Prospectus was being designed and created by weareliquid.
It was a fast paced shoot, with lots to cover in a short time, but it was good fun and I really liked the shots as the pupils just seemed to relax and create some really nice natural shots. As a lot of the shots were inside the school I was prepared for the usual yellow tungsten lighting. I did’nt want to use on camera flash as it can produce rather flat results, but I needed something that could be set up and moved really quick so I used the Apollo Orb Octagonal box which can be used with just speedlights. It was really quick to set up and created a really nice spread of light over the subject, to get rid of that yellow cast of light from the ambient lighting. Here are the rest of the shots
